How to handle Control frames using airbase-ng soft AP

Hey,

As far as I read in here:

Using airbase-ng as soft AP cannot handle the Control frames in layer 2 and it case some severe service quality issues resulted in many multiplications, retransmissions and duplications of packages.

Is there any complement software solution for it?

B.T.W, I'm using ALFA card and it doesn't have this ability built in.
