How to get MEncoder ?
Hi,
I'm wondering how can I get the MEncoder. Can I just compile from the MPlayer source this way:
./configure --enable-mencoder --enable-gui --enable-largefiles --enable-xmms --enable-gl --enable-vesa --enable-x11 --enable-xv --enable-i18n --enable-win32 --enable-qtx --with-win32libdir=/usr/local/lib/win32 --enable-xanim --enable-divx4linux --enable-vorbis --enable-xvid --with-xvidlibdir=/usr/local/lib --enable-mp3lib --with-xvidincdir=/usr/local/include --with-codecsdir=/usr/local/lib --with-xanimlibdir=/usr/local/lib/xanim --enable-mmx --enable-mmx2 --enable-sse --enable-sse2
???
Or I got to download of its own source if it exists? (I'm very uncertain since when I went to the MPlayer's official page - mplayer.hq.hu - it looked that the MEncoder was removed from the source due to software patent reasons. Or am I misunderstanding anything?
I'm using Debian unstable. Maybe there's a way to got the MEncoder through apt?
Thanks!
