Question How to edit files inside of XPI or unpack, change and pack again?

Hi!
I need to edit a file inside of XPI file (for Firefox). Ark can't do that. It can only unpack and I can't pack it back. How do I do it?

I'm guessing that you need to update the install.rdf right? Yes, you can do that with ark.

Open the .xpi file in ark.
Drag&Drop the desired file out of it (or use the "extract" action).
Use a text editor to modify the file.
Drag it back into the archive (or use the "add file" action).

The old version will be automatically replaced with the new.

That's it!
