How to add new gadgets for Google Gadgets

I'm using Fedora 11 and I've installed Google Desktop Gadgets.
It was bundled with 5 useless gadgets. so I need to download some more from Google and use them.

I've downloaded some gadgets, but I cannot find a way to add them. The gadget browser don't support dran 'n drop, and there's no way to add new.

How can I use the externally downloaded gadgets?

I started using Google Gadgets recently too, and I have a solution.
In theory this should apply to both QT and GTK versions, but I can't be certain.
Once GG is installed, any Google Gadget file (.gg) should be associated with it, then all you need do is open it.

Note that you'll need to keep the .gg file you downloaded - if you move it, it'll be removed from the sidebar.
