I have been reading about the XDMX program (Which is developed by the people that made the X server) and I was wondering if you can create a display wall with it instead of a stretched desktop.

I am getting tired of messing with programs like chromium, sage, and ROCKS viz roll since they don't work with my hardware (ATI Graphics Cards) And I was wondering if you can create a tile display wall with only xdmx. Please don't tell me anything about sage and chromium as they don't work with my hardware, I want to know how to do it with xdmx

I want this to be setup like a visualization cluster where some nodes with screens attached to them are controlled by a master server that renders the image on each screen creating a full image on the tile display walls. I have been reading about it being done before there just isn't any clear documentation on how to do this other than the desktop extension part. Apparently some people have done it, I want to know what this type of use for this program is called so I can find more clearer information on it.
