How do you install Windows program on Linux Mandrake?
Does Windows software has to be Linux compatible in order to
use the program in Linux? I can't install any Windows programs
in Linux. What do I have to type to get the program working? Also, I am a beginner and need help badly...
A windows proggy will never work in linux (unless its an old dos proggy). The best you can do is use an alternative (note not emulator) www.winhq.com , that will answer your question.
He-he, but no sarcasm dude, I imagine installing linux progy on windows and see bill loosing his teeth, I remember a couple of years ago I tried to install a zipped archived game written for linux on windows machine, I unpacked the source, and there was the .bin file and others, so I drulled for a sec renamed .bin to .exe double-clicked and wholya - stack overflow error, oops. Bill must be happy seeing this screen he invented all the time.
