Question How do you install a DE if the pre-installed one is GNOME?

So, I installed Manjaro GNOME, but decided to switch to KDE due to performance issues. So, I installed plasma-desktop and logged out. However, the little settings cog thingy in the login manager still only shows GNOME and GNOME Classic.

How do I get it to show KDE in there as well? And preferably, is there a way to change the login manager to, say, this one?:

There is probably a lot more than just plasma-desktop (meta) but couldn't tell you what. To be honest, the easiest thing to do is go back to Manjaro and download their KDE install image, if they have one. Gnome is an absolute pig when it comes to resources. KDE is better but if you are short on resources, I personally wouldn't use either: I would use Xfce4 if you are looking for something with a desktop environment.

I agree with sevendogsbsd. It would be easier to install The KDE image.
But if you don't want to do that check out their wiki page on installing kde. https://wiki.manjaro.org/index.php/I...ma_environment
