My daughter recently brought home a disk from school with pqf and shw files on it. I tried to open it whith OO and it asked for filters. I put in the ones I believe the teachers have used...since I have seen her computer. Even when I do think I have input the right filter, the file comes up with an error message about the file possibly being corrupt or a blank document comes up with nothing in it...any body got any answers to solve my delema. I am trying to convice my Family that Linux is the way to go but this problem is not helping my case...please answer ASAP....I have one discouraged daughter and an Upset wife.
P.S. I tried installing Office XP with wine but could not for some reason ....go figure...?
