How do I upgrade my glibc 2.2.5 to 2.3.2 in a RH7.3?

I need to upgrade from Glibc 2.2.5 to 2.3.2 without upgrading the entire RedHat installation...
I have the RPMs Glibc 2.3.2, glibc-common, glibc-devel and binutils but I cannot install any of them... I read something that it may work with the following command:
rpm -Uvh (package1) (package2) (package3) (package4)
(I didnīt write the entire package name cause I donīt remember them right now, but are the 4 packages named above)
but this doesnīt work either.
The error is always the same: failed dependencies.
I know that is not easy tu upgrade the Glibc, but if someone could help with this, iīll be really gratefull...
thanks

I looked up glibc for RedHat and found this
http://rpmseek.com/rpm-pl/glibc.html...Str=1&qDnStr=1

You are going to have to build from 2.2.5 to 2.3.2 starting with the update for Redhat 7.3 then build to Redhat 8.0 then build to Redhat 9, it will be slow and tedious and i suggest you write everything down that needs to be done so as not to miss any thing. rpm -Uvh <packagename> is the correct format http://www.cs.utexas.edu/users/walte...rpm-howto.html
