How do I password protect folders/files?

I have some sensitive documents on my computer that I'd rather not just anyone look at. When regularly logging in, I have it set up so that one needs a password. However, if one boots with a livecd all the files are immediately available to the viewer. What I want to know is if in kde is there any way I can password protect a folder?

Thank you,

shodekiagari

Encrypt it with GPG.

If it is a recent KDE you can right click on the document and under actions select encrypt. That should do it. I have never used it but there is one possibility.

Oops... I could've done a google search on that, huh? Silly me.

Thanks, though.
