How can I resize the swap partition, which is same as RAM Now

Friends,
I am George Thomas, very very new to Linux, Just Installed Suse Linux 10.0. When I tried to install Oracle Database XE on Linux, I got an error saying your swap space is 1024MB , Oracle xe needs a swap space of 1590MB. I then tried to resize the swap partition, did not work. it is asking to unmount the swap partition
Then I re-installed the Suse Linux and changed the default swap partition value to 5G. The installation completed, but during the first reboot and configuring printers , modems etc the PC became frozen and I had to turn off and start. Everything else OK, But when Ichecked the partitions in YaST The swap partition values still remain as old (1GB) .
Someone Please help to resize the swap partition. I am very new to LInux, so please tell me little details steps.
My Hard drive : 30GB windows
:25 GB Linux
RAM : 1GB
Processor :Pentium 4 2GHZ

Can I delete the swap partition and create a new one with bigger size using Partition magaic from windows?

Thanks
George

When I use the partition magic from windows, I get error
Drive letter cannot be accessed. I cannot do anything after that.
When I am trying to delete the swap partition fron YaST I get error, unmount the partition
I am very new to Linux, I am very much disappointed, I installed Linux with lots of hopes that I can Install Oracle tools easily on Linux and work comfortably. Now If I cannot intall a small database Oracle XE, even with 1GB Ram and 25GB harddrive on Linux, I don't realize why people run for Linux. Everyone praises opensource and claims that lots of help available from open source community and none seriously responded to my post. I am struggling with this for past three days.
Thanks
George

Here is a thread I found on Google about what seems like exactly the same problem you're having:

http://groups.google.com/group/alt.o...19dede275ef026

It's always a good idea to check lots of places when you're looking for help or else you're putting all your eggs in one basket! Sorry I can't be of more help, but I've never used Oracle and I'm not a big SuSE fan.
