how can i remove wine

i am using fc7
i installed wine and now i need to remove it i tried
#yum remove wine
but it didnot work
how can i remove it

Well what message do you get when you try to remove it? And how did you install it?

when i installed it i used
#yum install wine
and removed by
#yum remove wine
but it still exist

How do you know it exists? Does 'wine' executable still work?

rpm -e wine

because basically yum is a tool built around 'rpm'.

i tried rpm -e wine but ihava a message tells me that wine isnot installed but i still can use wine
