How can I prevent KWORD from autoscrolling to hell when I select text?

Whenever I select text it scrolls through the entire document automatically. Some nitwit thought they were being clever by adding such a stupid feature.

Dont tell me you dont have the problem, just tell me how to fix it.

Do you mean kword as in the koffice project that was shut down? If so, maybe you want to try Calligra. And maybe Calligra won't have that problem.
