How can I install the minicom-2.6.1 sourcecode?

When I make minicom-2.6.1 sourcecode, appear errors like that '/home/simonJ/download/minicom-2.6.1/src/window.c:197: undefined reference to `tputs''.I want to know what lib I needed and how can I install it offline.
My system is Ubuntu 11.10 i386,and gcc version is 4.6.1 (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.6.1-9ubuntu3).
Thanks.

"tputs" is a libncurses object.

Prerequisites, minicom-2.6.1 ...
http://packages.ubuntu.com/source/quantal/minicom
>>> gettext, libncurses5-dev

gettext http://packages.ubuntu.com/oneiric/gettext ( > i386 > "link" )
+ all the dependencies. ( Some are already installed, please check.)

libncurses5-dev http://packages.ubuntu.com/oneiric/libncurses5-dev
+ dependencies.

.

Thanks a lot!
It's OK when I installed the two libs.
