Question Home access crash prb in Mandrake 10.1

Here's my prob... whenever I plug in a USB mass storage device such as my Pen Drive/MP3 Player or my Digital Camera, I find that my home access (konqueror since I use KDE) crashes. It works only when I open it as su.

Any pointers as to why this happens and how to rectify the problem?
