Hight Availability ( luci )

Hi All

I have setup with sucess a failover cluster in centOS 6, using luci as administration software.

Althought all work fine in the comande line ( start the service, realocate, restart, disabling )

But if I use luci to stop start or restart my service ( generic service "virtual IP" ) one uma my node do a restart.

Any one can point the right direction to solve this problem ?

Regards.

Hello and Welcome to LinuxQuestions,

One of the key information is missing, namely your configuration. There's no way someone can tell you what might be wrong without knowing how you configured something. We'd only be guessing on what might be wrong and you'll not get any answers soon. So, please post your relevant configuration file(s) (cluster.conf, ...) masking/changing personal information such as IP, mail addresses, etc... Also is there any relevant information in the log files, like signals sent to the other node, ....?

Looking forward to your participation in the forums. Have fun with Linux.

Kind regards,

Eric

Hi Erictra.

I have 2 virtual machines ( centOS6 ) in a physical host ( esxi 4.1.0 ).

This is my cluster.conf ( I mask the IP adresses ):

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<cluster config_version="121" name="oracle_cluster">
<fence_daemon clean_start="0" post_fail_delay="0" post_join_delay="3"/>
<clusternodes>

<fence>
<method name="1">
<device name="vmware1"/>
</method>
</fence>
</clusternode>
<clusternode name="node2" nodeid="2" votes="1">
<fence>
<method name="1">
<device name="vmware2"/>
</method>
</fence>
</clusternode>
</clusternodes>
<cman expected_votes="3"/>
<fencedevices>
<fencedevice agent="fence_vmware" ipaddr="physical_ip_host" login="root" name="vmware1" passwd="*****" port="node1"/>
<fencedevice agent="fence_vmware" ipaddr="physical_ip_host" login="root" name="vmware2" passwd="*****" port="node2"/>
</fencedevices>
