Question Help with a postfix issue and possible routing ?

ok I have a mandrake 9.0 box running postfix. The outside ip of the mailserver is and it is natted to a internal ip of yyy.yyy.yyy.yyy If I use my outlook client to connect to it via the internal ip it is super fast but if I use th outside ip like all of my clients do, it takes about 30 seconds to connect and authenicate.

Any ideas?

Many thanks in advance,
