Unhappy HELP!!! Creating installation CD Fedora core 4

Hi, guys!

Second day I try to creat CD disks (FC4-i386-disk1.iso to FC4-i386-disk4.iso) to install Linux Fedora core-4 but without any progress. I am pretty sure that I have x86 processor. Please anyone help me to explain what is going on and how can I record installable CDs.

I downloaded ISO images (four files with approximately 650 MB each) from a mirror found on official site redhat dot com. I am working now in Windows XP and for creating CD disks I have Ahead Nero 6 (Trial version). I tried to use many options there but non of them helped. When I recorded in CD-ROM(ISO) session the burning process just failed and the CD-R was spoiled. When I used CD-ROM(UDF/ISO) it recorded the iso-image but it was not recognized as installaition disk by boot (it just went on starting up XP, although in BIOS I explicitly set CD disk as the first). I tried also to unpack the iso-images and install them (having recorded it before on CD) but it doesn't recognize also.

On the second computer IBM (that I actually want to use for Linux) I cannot enter the BIOS (I tried many keys, line F2, F1, Alt-Ctrl-Ins etc.). Do I need record on the same CD as Linux CD1 also the bootable image?

What optionas should I use on Ahead Nero 6 (Trial) to correctly record installable CDs for Fedora core? Or may be you car recommend to use some other CD creators.

PLEASE HELP !!!

I've used Nero for most all my burning and have had no problems burning isos. I'd almost question the validity of the isos themselves. Have you checked the md5 sum? Have you attempted to redownload?

While I don't use winXP (my household is _almost_ completely linux), I found this with a quick google search:

I don't have md5 sum to compare the sum. The only that I have is sums for sha1sum. But anyway thank's for answer.

Where are you downloading the iso from? Most reputable places have the md5 sum sitting prominently... but apparently I'm behind the times Here's a link to check the sha1sums in windows:
