help converting .mp3 to .m4a on Fedora 11

Hello! I'm not exactly a multimedia formats whiz, so any help is helpful.

I need to convert a .mp3 file to a .m4a file for my phone. Does anyone know how it's done on Fedora 11?

I seem to be able to make this work with the Nero executables. While I still like faac better, these work...
