Alright let me try to explain my problem...I want to dual boot win2k and red hat 7. i have 2 h.drives and would preferably want win2k on the 40gig and linux on the 20. but have gotten to the point that what ever will work i can live with. when i 1st tried to install linux on the 20gig i got a device error. i then unplugged my drives and plugged just the 20gig straight into the motherboard (instead of through my ultra/66 pci card). this worked fine and i got linux installed, but now i cant figure out how to boot win2k. i tried plugging both the drives straight into the motherboard(even though a friend told me it wouldnt work) and ofcourse it didnt pick up either of the drives. i then plugged just the win2k drive straight into the motherboard and it wouldnt boot up. so i tried to plug the 40gig through the pci card and the 20gig to the motherboard and neither pick up. so basically i can plug both through the card and just use win2k or i can plug just the 20gig straight into the motherboard and just have linux.
Can anybody help?
