Help


i have Slack 10 running on an athlon thunderbirs 1200 overclocked to 1308 with a geforce2 200mx with 256ddr ram the problem i am having is that i downloaded two install packages for wine the binaries wich is file name Wine-20040716.tar
and the source wich is named
Wine-20040716-i686-S10.gtar
the help file says to run ./tools/.configure but there is no such file so i try ./configure and the same happens what is going on here and how do i friggin install whine and from what file do i do it from

I assume you untarred the packages first, and have changed into the newly created directory ?
Is "tools" a directory, or does it not exist ?

Also, try re-wording your question making use of comma's, full stops and capital letters where appropriate

and the easiest way to install it is to install swaret
then type

swaret --update
swaret --install wine

it will download it and install it for u
