hda:set_multmode:status=0x51{DriveReady SeekComplete Error};hda:Set_multmode error=04
Hi All,
I am using an compact flash connected to an ide interface.During the bootup i see these errors
hda:set_multmode:status=0x51{DriveReady SeekComplete Error}
hda:Set_multmode error=0x4 {DriveStatusError}
I have done read/write tests on the CF(compact flash) and have found that there is no problem with the CF.I also disabled the multimode option in the kernel and now i dont get this error during bootup but after having used this compatc flash for about 9-10 months i find that the data on the CF(compact flash) becomes unusable.
Is there any issue with the filesystem writing on the compact flash?
We are using an linux ext2 in the compact flash and cramfs to boot the kernel.
What could be the problem? Anyone there who has faced a similar issue.
Regards,
Premraj
