Having trouble setting the time for events in Korganizer

Linux Mint 20 "Ulyana" - Cinnamon (64-bit) is my environment.

I installed KOrganizer from my software manager.

When I set a start time and end time for an event or todo and save it, the time changes to 12am for both start and end time, instead of using the times it was set for.

Is there a fix for this?

Which version of KDE do you run? Latest is 5.20 with Kontact 5.15.2 which gives no such problems.

I thought about upgrading. I installed it from my software manager, and it's an older version. Kontact didn't come with Korganizer, so I only installed it. Is it just one package that contains both now? If so, I'll do a search for Kontact.

I don't have a KDE desktop. My mint is 20 based on cinnamon. Maybe this is why I can't find a newer program.

Thanks,
Steve

Umm, I use the entire Kontact suite of which Korganizer is only one building block (mail, calendar, ... are in it too) on openSUSE tumbleweed. Why don't you try to start Kalendar and try to switch from there to Korganizer? But maybe the easiest would be to install the entire kontact suite...

I don't mind installing Kontact as well. But where do I find a link for Linuxmint? Nothing seems to come up in my searches that would make it easy enough for me.

Thanks,
Steve

Search for KDE (or Plasma) PIM (personal information manager) in the repositories of mint. Dunno, my SUSE just does it .
