gtk-gnutella...again ! Please help :(

I am trying to re-install gtk-gnutella because i started it once while not connected and it removed all hosts !! god knows why.

Anyway when i type "rpm -i gtk-gnutella-0.93.1-1.gtk2.i586.rpm"

I get the error message :

file /usr/bin/gtk-gnutella from install of gtk-gnutella-0.93.1-1.gtk2 conflicts
with file from package gtk-gnutella-0.93-1
file /usr/share/applications/gtk-gnutella.desktop from install of gtk-gnutella-0.93.1-1.gtk2 conflicts with file from package gtk-gnutella-0.93-1
file /usr/share/locale/es/LC_MESSAGES/gtk-gnutella.mo from install of gtk-gnutella-0.93.1-1.gtk2 conflicts with file from package gtk-gnutella-0.93-1
file /usr/share/locale/nl/LC_MESSAGES/gtk-gnutella.mo from install of gtk-gnutella-0.93.1-1.gtk2 conflicts with file from package gtk-gnutella-0.93-1

So i tryed "find / -print | grep gtk-gnutella-0.93-1"

So I could locate gtk-gnutella-0.93-1 and remove it, but my search comes up with nothing.

How do I find gtk-gnutella-0.93-1 as remove it ?

Im stumped !!

Surely if you were running it as a limited permissions user you only altered the files in your home folder when you screwed it up. Only root has the power to alter the program itself so it should still be in the same state as it was when you first installed it. What you need to do is delete the settings in the hidden folder .gtk-gnutella in your home folder. Delete the .gtk-gnutella folder and then relaunch the program. It will recreate the folder with the default settings, good as new.
