Well, I am using Mandrake 9.2, and it seems somehow my gtk is screwed up. Whenever I open up gtk menus like the file browser in xmms or mplayer, the bloody apps crash. However they're quite usable if you add files by drag & drop in xmms's playlist, or use the playlist manager in mplayer (not 'file/open')...
So the menus look weird too. They have blue lines under the directories.
Anyways, when I run the apps under Gnome, they work fine, but they always crash under kde. So i am convinced I have to change the gtk setting somehow, but I don't know how....It really bugs me cause I don't use Gnome much at all...
Evoultion and gimp like to crash because of this too..
Any help on how to remedy this problem would be sincerely appreciated!
9.2 is a beta, so maybe check the known bugs, and also make sure your download and burning was without error.
Did you just install 9.2 or have you changed anything?
Well, I burnt and installed the os, so i'm pretty sure the downloading and burning went ok
I know it's a beta, but I should be able to fix the problem, I mean the apps work in Gnome, but not in KDE. I am certain it is a gtk configuration within kde, but i just don't know how to fix it....arghh
