I formatted my hardr drive which had ubuntu n( gusty gibbon) and xp installed. I formatted using d restoration disk (XP) that came with my laptop. i am now getting a an "grub error 22". please help
If you formatted the drive, you deleted everything. At least deleted the address tables to access information which, for the average user is the same thing. What was your intention in formatting? Re-install?
i wanted to reinstall but i got it to work eventually. I now realise that if i format, grub the bootloader will be looking for a linux entry that is not there. Thanks anyway
I have fedora 10 installed but i cant play mp3 cds. It complains that i don't have Mpeg decoder plug-in installed. When i try to download the plugin i get an error."Could not find plugin in any configured software source" Please help.
