GRUB Auto-booting

I updated/recompiled the kernel this afternoon. Now, I updated GRUB through editing menu.lst to reflect the changes. I now have two entries (my old kernel to fall back on and my custom one). I moved the new kernel to be the top entry, but it still wants to boot the old image by default. How do I fix that?

Change the default number so that it points to the one you want. Remember, grub counts from zero so make the number one less than you would normally.
default 2 will boot the third title on the list
