grootmenu alternatives

Does anyone know of any alternatives to grootmenu? It doens't need to be just for GNOME, any app that I can run in the background and will let me right-click on the root window and get a menu would be great. It'd be even better if this app let me put icons in the menu (I don't believe grootmenu does), transparency would be another plus but not at all necessary. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks
