grip doesn't seam to realise the cdromdrive is faster then 6x

Well, how can this be? Sometimes my cd's are imported at 30x and sometimes it just stays at 6x???

UPATE: I have worked a bit around it, I installed CDDA2WAV and use that ripper to get the wav files. That goes a lot faster now but after every track, the CD-player spins down and has to start again. Is there a way to work around that? It really doesn't need to spin down (running a quad core and turned the option 4 cores on )
