Greyed text in Dolphin and Konqueror

Why is it that in Dolphin and Konqueror file managers using Detail View mode, the text in the Name column is black and other columns are displayed grey?

How can the text in the other columns be made black also?

I don't see this in Konqueror on either Debian or Slackware and I can't find any settings in Konqueror to explain different fonts in different columns. Indeed, I don't think I've seen this before.

My first thought would be to create a new user, then seeing whether this happens for your new user also. That would indicate it is a system or distro-related issue, as opposed to a local user-related one.

Does it happen with a new user?

I don't have either of those distros so I'm kind of at a loss.

Perhaps the question would get better exposure in the Mandriva or Novell/Suse forums.

I'm fresh out of ideas. Please let the board know what you find out.

Edit: If I get a chance, I'll throw Suse on a VM tomorrow of the next day and report back.

This color is set by the "inactive text" color in KDE color schemes.

So to change it ,go to "System Settings" -> "Application Appearance" -> "Colors" -> "Colors tab" and choose Inactive text color.

Yes, this means all inactive text color system-wide will also change.
