Got http, now I need to run https

I just received a box running RedHat 9.

It has http (Apache) running on it.

I would also like to run https on it.

a. Can I run http and https on the same port or do I need to run them on different ports?

b. How do I also get https running on this box?

c. How do I create my own Secure Certificate to test https?

d: It there a how-to tutorial somewhere that gives step-by-step instructions to do this?

There is a tutorial right here at LQO. It is aimed at Slackware, but the information is solid and you should be able to translate the directories into RedHat. It also goes through how to make your own certs. Oh, and SSL runs on port 443, although you can change that if you want. It just can't run on the same port as the standard server.
