If you are using 2FA disable it temporarily and see what happens. Unfortunately some apps will get blocked due to not supporting latest security protocols or because G$ might just feel like being difficult. I see you have posted this question on multiple forums without any response. Big ups to LQ! You may want to possibly look into maybe using Rsync. I have not used it myself on Google Drive but it seems to be another option.
I have to make the "user type" - "External", because it does not allow me to make it Internal.
Code:
Because you’re not a Google Workspace user, you can only make your app available to external (general audience) users.
I don't really understand it clearly. Google statement makes it hard to clearly understand.. or maybe just my poor comprehension.
Does this expose my google drive to public user (anybody with google acc) ?
Code:
In this mode, your app is available to any user with a Google Account. External apps that request sensitive or restricted user data must first be verified by Google. This process may take 4-6 weeks. In addition, if you selected restricted scopes, you'll need to go through an independent security review, which can cost USD $15k-$75k. Learn more

No, i am not using 2FA.
This works:
Different OAuth2 client to workaround over quota and google approval issues in the Grive2 README.md.
After going thru all the setting of google OAuth2 client setup.. done.
Then i realized, grive2 only capable of sync thing from my own google drive (even then, it only synced a few files and call it done).
Code:
$ grive
Reading local directories
Reading remote server file list
Synchronizing files
Finished!
I was actually thought i can use it to sync whatever i can access on google drive via browser..
What i really want to sync to local machine is the "shared google drive" from my friend. . but apparently grive can't access to the "shared google drive" so, make it useless to me, Unless it is me who don't know how to use it.
Does rclone able to sync "shared google drive" that my friend shared to me ?
Grive only able to sync my very own google drive, not shared google drive (which is useless to me)
