GNUnet secured P2P

I came across this only yesterday and it seems interesting.
Help with setup/configuration would be greatly appreciated.
I have installed it in Ubuntu Lucid but I cannot get the daemon to start

you might look into using OneSwarm
http://oneswarm.cs.washington.edu/

for gnunet; this is a terminal text program unless you are using one of the gui's ??
gnunet-gtk or gnunet-qt
http://gnunet.org/faq.php3?xlang=English#gui
