GnuCash Installation Question

I am currently running Fedora Core 2 and am trying to install gnuCash. My first initial attempts to install the program via RPM stated that there were unresolved package
dependencies. I installed all of the listed packages and when attempting to install it now
I get a message that states:

error: can't create transition lock

What does this mean?

Any help you could lend would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
