Gnome - Log out

Using Gnome with RH 8.0

When logging out, a window comes up with radio buttons Log Out, Shut Down, Restart the computer.

The default select is Log Out.
How can I change it?

Not sure you can. Ideally I guess it would remember what you used last time and select it. Try filing a bug in about it, that way it'll hopefully get fixed.
