Recently I defeated the foul beast known as TVWM. You see, it was coming up as my windows manager no matter which manager I chose during the selection phase of my graphical logon manager. I managed to gain access to gnome by editing the file xsessions. There was a nice long script in there that I adeptly cut down to one line that read: "exec gnome-session". This is very nice in that I have a purty GUI to look at...however I do
not have access to any other windows managers. I am quite sure that they are installed on this machine, just as gnome was when TVWM continually loaded...but I don't know quite where to go from here... I do have a previous
thread that may be of use to any linux gurus out there itching to help... /hopeful_smile
