gnome and vnc server - keyboard issue

Hello,

I have gnome and vnc server installed on my debian machine.
I have correctly configure the vnc server, desktop is coming fine also.

Problem is with the keyboard. I cannot press the certain key like 'E' key in the vnc.

Can anyone throw some light on it. Below is the xstartuo file for my vnc server

#!/bin/sh

xrdb $HOME/.Xresources
xsetroot -solid grey
x-terminal-emulator -geometry 80x24+10+10 -ls -title "$VNCDESKTOP Desktop" &
#x-window-manager &
vncconfig -iconic &
eval `dbus-launch --sh-syntax --exit-with-session`
gnome-session &

if you need anything else then let me know,
