GkrellM and Mail notification
Hi all,
Is there anyway to get GkrellM to notify me and check my Yahoo! email accounts? I dont have the plus yahoo account, just the standard one. I am running FC3, and I have the newest version of GkrellM... I am a newbie, so any help or suggestions would be great. because I dont know anything about the server info for yahoo or what values to put where. I havent been able to get Yahoo mail to work for evolution either..... Anyone gotten Yahoo mail to work with either on of these?
Charles

You need the yahoo pop server info for auto checking to work.

The other poster means you have to have access to the Yahoo! pop server to access your Yahoo! account via pop. It used to be free, but I think it's a paid service now. The help docs over there should help.

Yahoo POP is free, but you have to agree to let them spam your account a bit. I use Yahoo mail with Gkrellm notification.
Access your Yahoo mail account, click on Mail Options >> POP Access and Forwarding, follow the directions, and set up Gkrellm with the required settings...
