Is it possible to have it so that when you maximize a window it won't cover gkrellm, it'll just go as far as the side. Simmilar to how a window manager title bar acts? Also is it possible to run gkrellm in fluxbox without it having an enty on the title bar (or task bar, whatever you call it)??
And also one dumb fluxbox question; how do you resize windows?? when i put my mouse to the edges of windows nothing happens. They don't change to a resizing cursor.
i don't believe there is a way to stop it covering another app... you are presumably running gkrellm inside the fb slit? there *might* be an option there, but i doubt it. there is "full maximization" in blackbox but i suspect that that is only for the task bar, not any other addins.
resize windows using the two small areas in the corners of the bar along the bottom, they are usually picked out in different colors in a style.
Not sure about the stable version that comes with Slack, but with the devel version (0.9.6) there is an option for 'maximixe over' the slit. Right-click the desktop, Fluxbox > Configure > Slit > Maximize Over, make sure it's unchecked.
