while trying to tun giFTd with the curses frontend i encounter the following problem: giftcurs reports

after which it 'hangs'

can anybody help me on this problem? I have installed gift and fasttrack from source and connect to the internet via a ethernet router

edit:
stuff works now. the key is to start giftd in a terminal and then open the frontend in another. Doing only the last gives lots of errors.
