Getting my soundcard to work in linux slackware 10


I just recently installed linux slackware 10. It is working great except for one thing and that is my audio. I have on-baord nforce audio. If anyone would be nice enought to help me out please do.

run 'alsaconf' if you have it. It should attempt to detect your sound card and set it up. Then run 'alsamixer' and increase the volume, finally run 'alsactl store' so it's not muted on next reboot. Do all that as root.
