getting Cell BE working
Stuff I tried (tested with a simple hello world that works fine on a server at my university):
1) Downloading a Fedora image that has Cell SDK installed. Compiling a project in Cell BE works, but I cannot execute it (./ppu: cannot execute binary file).
Read something about needing to install elfspu2, tried that but it brings me to a dependency hell, which I can't seem to solve.
2) Tried installing it on my main Slackware system. I could only find a rpm, so I did a rpm2tgz and installed cell SDK... installed ok but... complete failure, doesn't even compile.
If anybody has experience with Cell BE, under any kind of Linux whatsoever, please tell me how to go about getting it to run properly. I really want to learn more about it, but I can't really learn about developing applications for it if I can't even get the executables to run on my systems.
Any info is welcomed, and please excuse my noobish questions.
