Question Getiing My Wpn11 Net gear wifi adapter usb, to work in Back track 3

So i spent all night trying out different linux systems like slax and back track and dream linux and have come to say i like back track the most.
So when i installed my wpn11 net gear cd while on my linux it didnt work.
i re installed it a few times but nothing happened
(I am fairly new to linux based systems).
I know that some people are using ubuntu as there linux but i would like to stick to back track 3.
I also know that wpn111 is only used for windows and not for linux but i was looking for a quick fix to help solve this problem. Any suggestions or comments or ways to fix this? Please...
