get rid of this !@#$%^ line in Oo

To All:

I recently made an Oo file and typed the underbar ("_") too
many times and it changed itself to a horizontal line. Now
I can't get rid of the !@#$$%^ line. I tried

- cutting it out
- retyping the last few sentences
- pasting the upper half to a new document

and this @#$%^& line still appear. How do I get rid of it?

Thanks in advance for your help.
