Question Get a list of linux users

Hi

I am new at Linux.

So if someone can help me out with my little problem

I need to list users witch are created on the box.

Like in MSWIN user manager

If it is possible under console not under KDE I know that way. But I am building a home server so I didn’t install X

Thanks

probably the best way would be to:

ls /home

most users (actual users, not system processes like mysql or ftp) have folders in /home (home directory, not unlike user profiles on 2k, xp, etc).

another way to check would be

ls /var/spool/mail

this is the directory where mail is kept for users.

hope this helps!
