Games with Suse 9.1

I just tried to install falling block game and tux racer on suse 9.1, they both installed okay, but run way much slower than they do on windows, any ideas anyone why this would be?

I was especially disapointed to see Tux work better under M$ than on Linux!

Its just doesnt seem right!!!!!
