GameCP, MySQL, PHP Connect PHP to MySQL?

Again i'm still a newb with linux servers

I'm trying to install GameCP to my server, I'm sure I have all the requirements I have LAMP, ionCube, etc
However I keep getting:

Setup Wizard encounterd an error

There have been one or more errors reported while trying to install GameCP.

php_mysql - Connects PHP to your MySQL server - required
Please correct any errors you see and try again.

There gotta be some sort of log file for this GameCP that has more descriptive information on what the problem is.
