gaim feature


Is there a way to have gaim auto receive files?

I just looked and can't find one.. Doesn't mean it isn't so, of course. I would tend to believe the first poster on this in that, it wouldn't be too secure.

Why would you want to auto-recieve files. Are you going to be like a File Server or something? What if some nubcake decided to send you a virus?

The last time I checked, viruses don't execute when downloaded and I could also place noexec on the directory/file.

And I want this feature because I want to auto-receive files...
