whenever i try to run gaim and then when i recieve a message from someone my gaim crashes for some reason, heres what it says when i run it through a terminal with gaim -d

/tmp/mcop-andy_spencer is not accessible owned by user
dns[24403]: Oops, father has gone, wait for me, wait...!

if i run x as root i dont get the problem though, im useing gaim 0.82.1 and i does the same thing even if i use a different version

also i just upgraded form slackware 9.1 to 10.0 when the problem started

figured it out, i renamed the /tmp/mcop-andy_spencer directory to /tmp/mcop-andy_spencer.bak then started gaim, it made a new directory and then i copied the rest of the files from mcop-andy_spencer.bak to mcop-andy_spencer
