ftp with mput

Hi Guys,

Here, I am trying to put some files using the ftp program. i.e from Linux to Windows. But it says as permission denied. I tried changing the file permissions but still it gives the same output. Following are the steps i did.

ftp <x.x.x.x>
UserName:Administrator
Password:xxxx

ftp>mput <filename>
Permission Denied

Does anybody know how to resolv this??

--Thanks--

You might not have rights at the client side to read the files. Or you might not have the rights at the server side to write the files in the specific directory.
